Apple Strudel - CookingHub

Ingredients

• 1 sheet of puff pastry dough - defrosted in the refrigerator (*)
• 1 LB of apples of your choice - diced (usually about 2 - 3 apples**)
• ½ cup of confectioners’ sugar
• 1 TBSP of cornstarch
• 2 TSP of cinnamon
• ¼ TSP of ground nutmeg
• Zest from 1 lemon
• Optionally: ¼ cup of raisins (dried grapes)
• Optionally: ¼ cup of walnuts
• all-purpose flour (adjust if needed, for flouring the surface )
• 1 egg (for brushing before baking)
• confectioners’ sugar
• vanilla ice cream
• 1x Measuring Cups
• 1x Measuring Spoons
• 1x Cutting Board
• 1x Chef’s knife
• 1x Medium Mixing Bowl (3 – 4 QT) (optional)
• 1x Small Hand Grater or Zester
• 1x Silicone Spatula
• 1x Rolling Pin
• 1x Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper or Silicone Matt
• 1x Small Mixing Bowl (about 1 QT)
• 1x French Whisk
