• 1.5 lb rump steak or New York strip steak, cut into 1 inch pieces
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter
• 5 cloves garlic, minced or use garlic confit (double or triple amount)
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
