Name: Cherry-Chocolate Shortbread
Ingredients: 2 Sticks unsalted butter (softened); ½ Cup powdered sugar; 2 Cups flour; ½ Teaspoon salt; 1 Cup Maraschino cherries (chopped); ½ Cup dark chocolate chips (mini chips would be ideal. If the chips are too large, it will be difficult to slice the cookie dough.); 1-½ Teaspoons vanilla extract; 8 Ounces white or dark chocolate (for drizzling on top of cookies - optional)
