Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter (softened but not melted)
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (spooned into the cup then leveled)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs (room temperature)
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups chocolate (chopped or chocolate chips)
