• 1/2 cup barbeque sauce, store-bought or homemade
• 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
• 2 (9.5-ounce) cans flaky refrigerated biscuits
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
• fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
