Date Fudge Cake recipe by Najiya

Ingredients

• 1 cup boiling water
• 1 and quarter cup chopped dates
• 1 teaspoon bicarb
• 125g butter
• 1 cup castor sugar
• Cream well together
• Add
• 2 eggs
• 1 and half cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• Half cup chopped pecan nuts
• Add date mixture and mix well
• Add to greased pan.bake at 180 for approx 45 minutes
• 1 cup dark brown sugar
• 1 cup fresh cream
• 2 tablespoon butter
