Ingredients

• 1 cup butter (best if brought to room temperature)
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs (best if brought to room temperature)
• 3 cups flour
• 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup strawberry jam
• 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
• 1 cup toasted chopped walnuts (optional)
