The Pie Recipes

Ingredients

• stant flour
• 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
• ⅓ cup buttermilk (I use Five Acre Farms)
• 1 egg
• 1½ teaspoons olive oil
• 1½ cups diced fresh peaches, drained in a fine mesh strainer then placed on paper towel to absorb excess moisture
• 3 cups canola oil, for frying
