Garlic Bread
Garlic bread is bread, typically a crusty loaf such as French or Italian bread, that has been sliced or halved and brushed or rubbed with garlic in butter or olive oil before being toasted, baked, or grilled until crisp. Garlic butter, garlic powder, or fresh garlic can all be used, often with herbs such as parsley or oregano. It is served as a side dish or appetizer alongside pasta and pizza, where it helps soak up sauce. Some regional versions use other breads, such as naan, in place of a Western loaf.
