Garlic Powder
Garlic powder is dried, ground garlic (Allium sativum) cloves, a finer grind than garlic granules and, unlike garlic salt, containing no added salt. It has a pungent, slightly sweet, earthy flavor that is more concentrated than fresh garlic and dissolves evenly into rubs, marinades, spice blends, soups, and stews. It is used across most world cuisines as a convenient substitute for fresh garlic, and pairs well with onion powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, and thyme.
