Ingredients

• 1 cup (250 mL) whole barley flour
• 1 cup (250 mL) all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
• 1 ½ tsp (7 mL) baking powder
• ½ tsp (2 mL) baking soda
• 1 tsp (5mL) salt
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup (50 mL) canola oil
• 2 tsp (10 mL) grated orange peel
• ¾ cup (175 mL) orange juice
• 1 ½ cups (375 mL) finely chopped rhubarb*
• ¾ cup (175 mL) chopped pecans
