Ingredients

• 250g ground chicken
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) peanut oil
• 6 cups (1.5 litres) green cabbage, shredded
• 1 cup (250 ml) celery, finely chopped
• 4 onions, finely chopped
• 1 carrot, grated
• 1 cup (250 ml) mushrooms, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh ginger, grated
• 3 tablespoons (45 ml) soy sauce
• 454 g egg roll wrappers, thawed
• 1 to 2 egg whites
