• 125g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for the tin
• 250ml apple cider
• 1 tsp ground allspice
• 1 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• large pinch of ground cloves
• 250g self-raising flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 150g golden caster sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 75ml Greek-style natural yogurt
• 250g Bramley apples, peeled, cored and chopped
• 125g icing sugar, sifted
• 30g pecans, chopped
