• 1 ( 1-pound ) package Camellia Brand Baby Lima Beans or Camellia Brand Green Baby Lima Beans
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 10 cups water
• 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil (optional)
• Salt to taste
• 1 toe garlic , chopped (optional)
• 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
• 1/2 pound ham or seasoning meat (if bacon is used for seasoning, brown before adding)
