• For the crust

•  1/2 cup butter (about 1 stick), melted and cooled
• For the filling
•  1 1/2 pounds cream cheese (about three 8 oz. packages), room temperature
•  1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
•  1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•  1 teaspoon ground ginger
•  1 teaspoon ground cloves
•  5 large eggs, room temperature
•  1 cup pumpkin puree (canned pure pumpkin can be used)
