• 1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp patriotic or rainbow sprinkles, divided
• Vanilla-Almond Buttercream (recipe follows)
• 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 1/4 tsp kosher salt
• 1 & 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
• 1 & 1/2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp almond extract
