- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2¼ teaspoon)
- 4½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 14 cups water
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water
- 1 package cocktail hot dogs (mine had about 35)
- Kosher salt
