Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
• 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
• 1 pound peeled and deveined large shrimp (16/20 count)
• 2 lemons, halved
• 1/2 cup white wine
• 4 dashes hot sauce (I used tabasco), or more to taste
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 8 ounces angel hair pasta
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
• Minced fresh parsley, for topping
