Roman Apple Cake |

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup Flour
• 1 cup Sugar, granulated
• 1/4 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. Baking powder (I use Rumford brand – no aluminum in it – saves bitter taste in baked goods)
• Optional: 1 tsp. Cinnamon
• Optional: 1 tsp. Nutmeg
• 1/2 cup Raisins
• 1 Egg, beaten
• 1/2 cup Milk
• 1/2 cup Butter or margarine, melted
• 3 or 4 Apples, peeled and sliced
