With British apple season in full swing this is a great way to use them up, delicious on its own or served warm with custard or cream.
Ingredients
- 2 medium sized apples, peeled, cored and finely diced
- 175g Butter or margarine
- 175g organic caster sugar – NEW to the TrueFood refill selection
- 175g Doves organic self-raising flour
- 30g organic ground almonds – available as a refill from TrueFood
- 3 organic eggs, beaten
- 1tsp vanilla extract
