- 1 cup sweet sherry, plus extra 1/2 cup
- 250g unsalted butter, softened
- 175g dark brown sugar
- 150g molasses
- 2 free-range eggs
- 8 free-range egg yolks
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 200g fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 cup plain flour, plus extra 1/2 cup
- 6 tsp mixed spice
- 1 cup milk
- Custard, berries, icing sugar, to serve
