This Char Siu sauce recipe competes for my Heavenly Sauce recipe, which I use with Daddy Wu's Chinese Chicken. Try them both, they are delicious!

- 2 whole free range chicken breasts
- kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
- vegetable spray
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp five spice powder
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp roasted sesame seed oil
- 2 cloves grated garlic
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp water
