• 6 Large Baking Apples, something like Granny Smith (( Peeled & Cored))
• 2 Cups flour
• 2 (1/2) teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2/3 Cup Shortening
• 1/2 Cup milk
• 2 Cups brown sugar ((packed) )
• 2 Cups water
• 1/4 Cup butter
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
