Ingredients
- 4-6 Jumbo Beef Franks or 6-8 Regular Beef Franks
- 1 Cup + 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Yellow Cornmeal
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Butter or Vegetable Shortening, melted
- 2-3 Quarts Frying Oil, (I used peanut oil)
- 7 inch 5mm Skewers
- 7 Quart Dutch Oven
- Deep Fry Thermometer
