• 1 stick ofunsalted butter - cut into large pieces (adjust if needed, ¼ LB)
• ⅓ cup ofall-purpose flour
• 2 cups ofwhole milk - sliced (or 2% milk)
• 2 cups ofvegetable broth (or beef or chicken broth)
• 1 cup ofheavy cream
• 2Juice from 1 lemon
• ¾ cup ofcreamy horseradish - whole (adjust if needed, *)
• 2 TBSP ofgranulated sugar
• 1 TSP ofsalt (*)
• ½ TSP ofpepper - ideally freshly ground
