Christmas Chocolate Bars - Upper Arlington Public Library

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup brown sugar (1 pound)
• 5 large egss (or 6 small eggs)
• 4 ounce Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
• 3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• 1 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1/2 cup honey or molasses
• 1 cup citron
• 1 pound broken nuts meats (preferably blanched shredded almonds)
• chocolate frosting
• candied cherries (green and red)
