White Cheddar Apple Chicken Chili – Cooking With Annie

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 pound ground chicken
• 2 teaspoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 1 (15-ounce) can great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
• 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced
• 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
• Optional toppings: sliced green onions, additional shredded white cheddar, diced apples
