This is a recipe that I used to make all the time when DH and I had Kids at home and money was a big issue. It is off a recipe card from Betty Crocker back
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tablespoons grated yellow onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- *BARBECUE SAUCE*
- 3 medium yellow onions (finely chopped)
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
