Venison Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

• 2 pounds Ground venison
• 1 each Onion finely chopped
• 3 stalks Celery finely chopped
• 3 each Garlic cloves minced
• 1 can Diced tomatoes (28 oz)
• 2 cups Water
• 4 cups Beef stock
• 1 can Tomato sauce (14 oz)
• 4 each Carrots finely chopped
• 2 each Bay leaves
• 3 sprigs Fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried
• 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
• 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
• Pepper to taste
• 1 1/2 cups Pearl barley
