• 3/4 cup sugar
• For the brownies:
• 4 oz bittersweet chocolate squares
• 6 Tbsp butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• pinch of salt
• 1/2 cup flour
• optional: 1 tsp instant coffee powder
• For the chocolate sauce:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 stick butter
