• 2 cups sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 can applesauce (or 1 1/2 cups)
• 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
• 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
• 2 Tbsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 cup boiling water
• 1 Tbsp. vanilla
• 1 Tbsp. black walnut flavoring
• 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup walnuts
