Ingredients
- purchased package of round wonton skins
- 1 lb. of ground chicken or ground beef
- 3-4 cloves crushed fresh garlic
- 1” piece of fresh ginger, finely grated or minced
- 2 Tbsp good quality soy sauce
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped scallions
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
- half of an 8 oz. can water chestnuts, chopped small (use the rest in stir fry or a salad)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (use a good quality like San-J or a kosher one from an oriental market)
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 to 3 scallions, thinly sliced
- toasted sesame oil
- red pepper flakes
