Basil Plum Granita Recipe - Adams Fairacre Farms
No ice cream machine needed. A great way to enjoy fresh plums. Just remember to scrape it every hour while it freezes or you'll have a plum ice cube!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 5 Whole allspice
- 1 1/2 lbs Black plums, quartered
- 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
- 3/4 cup Basil leaves
