Ingredients

• 170 g unsalted butter
• 500 ml buttermilk (plain yoghurt will do in a pinch)
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 100 ml honey
• 300 g cornmeal (coarse/stoneground)
• 60 g all purpose flour
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 3 tsp baking powder
• 1 bell pepper
• 1 large onion
• 4 stalks of celery
• 3 cloves of garlic
• fresh sage
• fresh thyme
• 50 g butter
• 1 kg of cornbread
• 500 ml broth (vegetable or chicken)
• 100 ml heavy cream
• salt and pepper to season
