Irish Soda Bread Gelson's

Ingredients

• 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
• 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ¾ tsp kosher salt
• 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, cold and cubed
• ⅔ cup raisins or currants
• 1 ⅓ cups buttermilk
• 1 large Gelson’s egg
• 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
