- 1½ medium onions, sliced into thin rounds
- 30ml (2 tbsp) butter
- 5ml (1 tsp) sugar
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 16cm x 30cm piece of puff pastry (or a ¾ roll of ready-made puff pastry)
- 150g blue cheese
- 190ml (¾ cup) grapes, thinly sliced
