• 1 tsp. sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
• 1 tsp. turmeric
• 2 tsp. ground coriander
• ½ tsp. cloves
• 1 tsp. ground cumin
• 3 tbs. balsamic vinegar
• 2 tbs. vegetable oil
• Brown sugar for dusting the top of the chicken
