Green Goodness Jars from Wholesome by Sarah Graham
This can be eaten as a smoothie bowl with lots of toppings, but I prefer to pour it into a glass jar to drink on the go. These are my favourite greens, but you can use whatever you have available.
Ingredients
- 1 apple, roughly chopped
- 2–3 cups water or coconut water
- squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice
- 1 Tbsp baobab powder
- 1 Tbsp maca powder (optional, it’s very expensive)
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 courgette, roughly chopped
- ½ avocado or 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 2 cups baby spinach or roughly chopped kale
- 1 stick celery, roughly chopped
- 1 Tbsp spirulina or hemp seed powder (or moringa powder or your favourite green powder)
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- ¼ medium-sized English cucumber, roughly chopped
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, skin on
- 2 Tbsp ground almonds
