• 1 Vanilla Pod
• pinch salt
• 125 g (5 oz) unsalted butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp Cinnamon Ground
• 1/2 tbsp Nutmeg Ground
• 1/2 tbsp Allspice Ground
• 100 g (4 oz) mixed peel
• 100 g (4 oz) chopped almonds
• 200 g (7 oz) marzipan
• Melted butter
• Icing sugar to dust
