- Your favorite 9” pie shell, rolled and chillin’ in the fridge
- 2 cups of good quality eggnog
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 Tablespoons light rum (I used Bacardi Gold)
- ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg (plus additional to dust the top of the pie)
- zest of one lemon
