Lamb & Potato Stew (Lebanese Cuisine) recipe: This is a real Comfort Food, Passed down from my Father. Great in Winter and just as good in summer. A very Hearty stew.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Lamb Cut into 3/4 inch Cubes
- 3 extra large Potatoes Cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 extra large Onion Finely chopped
- 6 cloves Fresh garlic, peeled Finely Chopped
- 2 heaped teaspoons Salt
- 1 heaped teaspoon White pepper
- 1 heaped teaspoon Cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons Tomato paste
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 10 cups Water
