• 1 cup cornflour
• 1 cup custard powder
• 2 teaspoon cream of tarter
• 1 teaspoon bicarb of soda
• 2 teaspoons plain cake flour
• 8 eggs
• 1 ½ cup castor sugar
• Custard:
• 500 ml of milk
• Making a paste of the following:
• 2 heaped tablespoons of custard powder mixed with a little milk
• ¼ cup of sugar
• Cream layer:
• 250 ml cream
• 1 tablespoon sugar
