Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes, boiled, peeled
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil,
  • 1/8 tsp Asafoetida (Hing),
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds,
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander Seeds,
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder,
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice,
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 Green Chilli, finely chopped
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped, to garnish
  • A handful of Fresh Coriander Leaves,
  • 1/2 A handful of Fresh Mint Leaves,
  • 1 Green Chilli,
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice,
  • Water, just enough to blend
  • 1.5 cup Gram Flour (Besan),
  • 1.5 cup Water,
  • A Pinch of Salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain),
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder,
  • Oil, for frying
  • 10 White Bread Slices,
  • Chaat Masala (optional), to sprinkle on top
  • Coriander Chutney, as prepared
