- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/4 cups lard
- 5 to 6 tablespoons ice water
- 2 cups fresh rhubarb, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces, fresh or frozen
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons instant tapioca
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, halved
- 3 teaspoons butter, cut into pieces
