Ingredients

• 2 cups dried black beans
• 4 -5 cloves garlic
• juice 1/2 lemon
• 1 free range ham hock
• 1 large onion, diced
• 2 red chillies, finely chopped (deseed if you don’t like it too hot)
• 1 tablespoon cumin
• 1 tablespoon unsweetened fair trade cocoa
• 1 400g tin chopped tomatoes
