• cut into 1⁄4-inch cubes
• 1⁄2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
• such as Gruyère
• 4 eggs
• 3⁄4 cup milk
• 1⁄4 cup half-and-half
• 1⁄2 tsp salt
• Pinch of nutmeg
