Pepernoten - Dutch tiny cookies
Classic pepernoten are soft Dutch cookies that are filled with honey and anise. They're a treat during Sinterklaas, a Holiday at the beginning of December.
Ingredients
- 400 gram all-purpose flour + extra
- 1 tablespoon of Dutch speculaaskruiden
- pinch of salt
- 1 small sachet of anise powder (6 gram)
- 250 gram honey
- 1 egg
