- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2-1/3 cup all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp baking powder, dissolved in boiling water
- Maple butter, decorative icing, sugar, mini candies, optional garnish
