- 4 medium sized tomatoes (grated)
- 2 medium sized onions (sliced)
- 4 chillies (sliced)
- 2 tblspns ground ginger and garlic
- 1 stem curry leaf
- dhania (coriander)
- 3 ½ tblspns mixed masala (includes dhania (coriander) powder, turmeric, jeera powder, garam masala, Elachi (cardomom) powder)
- 1 tablespoon tamarind diluted in a cup of water
- Salt for taste
