Ingredients

• 2/3 cup (150 ml) water
• 1/3 cup (70 g) sugar
• 1/3 cup (75 ml) pistachio cream
• 1/2 tsp orange zest (about 1/2 orange)
• 1/4 tsp fennel seeds, crushed
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cinnamon stick, about 4 inches (10 cm) long
• 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk or non-dairy beverage
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) pistachio and spice syrup
• Pistachio cream, to taste (optional)
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) espresso coffee
• Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling
